This is my '68 Dormobile. How often do you see one of these?! I bought it a few years ago from California (Oldbug.com) with the hopes of restoring and taking some road trips with. Unfortunately (for the bus) I decided to go to grad school. I already have one old VW (my '69 Fastback and a '90 Jetta if you want to call it old) and I am just facing the facts that it will be years (thanks to student loans) before I get anywhere on it, and I'd rather put the money into my Type 3. The bus is back in NJ while I am in PA. I do have some parts for it, seals and such. I also have 2 complete front doors off of a green '78 camper. Like I said, I need to go back and write up a complete inventory as well, but ALL parts will go with the bus. The bus itself fires right up and will move and stop under its own power. I recently had all new brake systems installed. The engine, as far as I know is a stock 1500 or 1600. I never put plates on it though, so I never had it out on the open road.
